Jackson Hole, Wyoming - in Wilson, at the base of Teton Pass, 6 miles from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, 5 miles from Jackson.

This is a Jackson Hole West Bank original -- a hand crafted, solar log home on Fish Creek Road, 1,800 square feet, remodeled and expanded in 2001. It is furnished tastefully partly in the style of the Himalaya, where the owners lived for two decades, and features a spacious and view-filled living-dining-kitchen area, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The house has three bedrooms and 2 full baths, and sleeps 5 to 9.

The kitchen has a large Wolf stove and a ship's porthole that looks north to Grand Teton and the ski area (JH Mountain Resort). The house includes a utility room with washer and dryer, workbench and tools for working on skis, and a large yard looking out on a stunning view of Sleeping Indian. Located near the bike path. There is a log office thirty feet from the house, fully wired with Internet and phone, with 2 desks, a printer, etc. Next to that is the rustic but popular summer guest cottage known as the "Shackteau", which has electricity and a double bed (not included in the bed numbers listed above).

The location is ideal -- accessible to the charming hamlet of Wilson (the most desirable part of Jackson Hole), which features Hungry Jack's Mercantile Store (with movie rentals), the Stagecoach Bar, Pica’s Cantina, Pearl Street Bagels, Wilson Backcountry Sports, Nora's Fish Creek Inn, and the Post Office. Close to the Snake River and to Teton Pass, as well as Grand Teton National Park.

Amenities: Phone with unlimited domestic long distance service, use of a cell phone, wireless cable Internet, canoe and gear, wood stove, barbecue grills, cable TV with DVD, stereo and CD Player, full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, cooking utensils, etc., and plenty of counter space, linens, washer, dryer, mountain bikes, use of other outdoor toys and accessories. No smoking or pets.
